S & L Personnel are looking to source an 'Import Sales Coordinator' for a client based in Hinckley.
The successful applicant will assist the sales and marketing director increase sales to existing and new customers. The role required the successful applicant to liaise with a core of 20-30 UK based customers and 5 overseas manufacturers to ensure on time and in full delivery of container load shipments.
Key Responsibilities & Accountability:
* Receive and log all orders into the business maintaining records to keep internal staff and customers updated of order progress.
* Place production orders with overseas manufacturers and ensure on time production and dispatch.
* Monitor container shipments whilst in transit and liaise with clearing agents and transport companies to ensure prompt delivery to customers.
* Record and monitor sales figures compiling monthly sales reports. Review orders with customers and Sales & Marketing Director attempting to achieve as higher order entry as possible.
* Field all incoming enquiries to the business by telephone, email, fax or post in a professional manner.
* Maintain accurate customer, product and price details on databases and spreadsheets.
* Raising of packing lists, invoices and assisting with credit control
* Assist in the creation of marketing media and sample packs.
* General office administration duties.
The successful candidate will be professional, enthusiastic and work well as part of a small team. They will be ambitious, computer literate and have previous experience / training within a similar environment.
To have access to your own transport would be an advantage in this role however is not essential.
